To support our fast growing portfolio of Plastic Injection molding customers, we were intensively present at the “K” in Düsseldorf, Germany from 19th – 26th October 2016.
Grundfos Direct Sensors™ supported some of the global players within the “Plastic Market” with innovative sensor technology to develop state of the art electronic flow monitoring and control systems. The aim is to optimize the energy consumption on the temperature control side of the tooling, based on heat calculation with flow and accurate differential temperature measurement. Another approach to optimize the energy consumption to a tooling is to look at the complete picture and combine the hot runner and temperature control area. Also this concept based on Grundfos Direct Sensors™ enables the measurements of the various flows and temperatures, followed by heat calculation.
Overall Grundfos Direct Sensors™ was visible in various applications inside the temperature control of Plastic Injection Molding systems. In particular, in manifold systems and control and monitoring systems of the hot water transfer to the tooling. The ability to offer customized sensor solutions to follow the market requests in “Temperature Control” and Plastic Injection Molding is one of the strengths of Grundfos Direct Sensors™.
