New head of global quality appointed

The 52-year old Frenchman Jean-Luc Daudon is the new global lead for Grundfos’ quality function. He comes from a position as Vice President, Group Industrial Strategy and Manufacturing Engineering at Faurecia, a global leader in automotive equipment.
Jean-Luc Daudon holds an MBA from HEC School of Management completed at University of California Los Angeles, as well as a Master of Engineering from ENSAM in Paris. He brings more than 20 years’ experience in industry with him, mainly from the automotive industry. He has extensive knowledge of quality steering systems, of defining quality strategies and deploying standardized solutions to ensure a high global level of quality and operational performance.
“Jean-Luc has a proven record and knowledge of quality management systems, profound operational and leadership excellence, and not least, experience from industrial strategy and manufacturing engineering. I am confident that he will enhance Grundfos’ ability to meet the needs of our customers, strengthen our product development and operations excellence, and increase our quality performance through the value chain towards zero defect,” says Stéphane Simonetta, Group Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Grundfos.
Jean-Luc Daudon has also held a number of global positions leading quality in companies such as Vallourec, a top company in tubular solutions, and he is ready to take on his new role:
“After a good induction to the company, I am genuinely looking forward to this great challenge and responsibility. It will be a privilege for me to combine my many years of working experience with the ambitious goals for the Group,” he says.
He will have his base at the Grundfos Group headquarters in Bjerringbro, Denmark.
