Grundfos appoints CFO
At present Mr Dalsgaard holds the position as managing director of the Tæppeland (Carpetland) Group, where he since 2003 has made great results and implemented a successful business turnaround.
At Grundfos Mr Dalsgaard will have the whole world as his working place, and his superior responsibility will be finance. Group management is looking forward to the cooperation and expects that he, being goal oriented and with insight in and experience with strategic management, will contribute positively to the future development of the group.
Mr Dalsgaard’s educational backgroup is a M.Sc. Degree (Business Economics and Auditing) and an HD-Degree (Financial and Management Accounting) from Copenhagen Business School. He started his business career with a banking education in Privatbanken / Unibank (now Nordea), and afterwards he worked for a number of years in the auditing firm Arthur Andersen. After that he was controller in the IKANO and Habitat Group which are parts of IKEA founder Ingvar Kamprad’s investment and holding company. From 2000 to 2003 he was finance director at Compaq Computer/Hewlett-Packard in Denmark, and among other things he took an active part in the management of the integration process of the merged company.
The appointment of Mr Heine Dalsgaard makes the Grundfos Group management complete. The other members are Group President Carsten Bjerg, and Group Executive Vice Presidents Søren Ø. Sørensen, Carlo Prola and Lars Aagaard.
