Grundfos receives gold medals for the Expo-participation
Bureau International Des Expositions, BIE, presented Grundfos with The BIE Gold Medal for the company's long Expo-engagement and for the finest company exhibition, at a ceremony in Zaragoza, Spain.
Grundfos is especially honoured for the exceptional and long participation at the Expo exhibitions since the world exhibition in Sevialla in 1992. In the motivation it was mentioned that Grundfos with its technology and innovation has demonstrated global thinking and has shown millions of Expo visitors that Grundfos has three fundamental values: responsibility, foresight and innovation. Besides Grundfos received the award for the best pavilion in the category "company pavilions".
Grundfos’ Group Senior Vice Presiden Kim Klastrup was honoured to receive the medals:
- We have a long tradition of using Expo as the exhibition window for our ideas and products, both for customers, cooperation partners and employees. We do not just exhibit, we have always been suppliers to the Expo plants as well. This year we were main sponsors of the exhibition in Zaragoza, and we have our own very big stand. Expo is a fantastic event that brings people and companies together to show and discuss new ways that people can arrange their lives as citizens in the modern world. It is an excellent opportunity for us to invite the most important customers and share our thoughts about the future with them. Furthermore, we can explain and market our principles of sustainability to all the visitors, Kim Klastrup explains.
