New member of the Group Board
Ingelise Bogason, Gen. Man. of Alectia the consulting engineering company, is a new member of Grundfos' Board. Se is replacing Ms Stine Bosse. Ms Bogason (born 1949) graduated as an MA in Social Science and History from the University of Copenhagen in 1975. For 12 years she was an upper secondary school teacher and careers teacher. Im 1987 she changed professions and joined CSC Denmark, in which company she had several positions in the following years, including Sales and Marketing Manager, HR Manager and Country Manager as well as Gen. Manager.
In 2005 she accepted the job as Gen. Manager in Alectia, former Birch & Krogboe. Since then the company has progressed considerably. Economic results have improved massively, new business areas have been developed, 8 companies have been aqcuired and Alectia has moved from turnover solely in Denmark to 30 % global turnover. Ms Bogason has further duties as vice chairwoman in the Board of Bankinvest, board member of Denmak's Export Counsil and the Knowledge Advisors of the Confederation of Danish Industries. In addition she is a member of the Committee for good company management.
Group Chairman, Niels Due Jensen, is very pleased with the appointment of Ingelise Bogason. He said: "I am convinced that with Ingelise we have got an educated and creative element in our Board. She will no doubt contribute with good ideas and solid insight. In her professional career she has demonstrated impressive results and in addition she has managed to make different cultures meet.
