To answer the question, 17 companies, each leading efforts within the SDG’s were asked to give their input to this work. The list of companies count Unilever, Siemens,Danone and Grundfos to name a few of the contributors.
Recently, the topic took centerstage at the opera in Oslo, where the report, its findings and how they can be twisted to fit a Norwegian context was explored through a panel debate, in which Grundfos took part. Truls Lystang, General Manager of Grundfos Norway and Senior Responsibility and Engagement Manager, Pia Yasuko Rask, represented Grundfos.
“It is very interesting to get closer to the SDG’s in a local context, in this case the Norwegian context. Businesses can do quite a bit, and to us it is very interesting talking about how we in collaboration with our partners and customers can make a difference spanning several of the important goals,” says Pia Yasuko Rask.
The forecast was formally introduced in New York on 19 September.
