Grundfos BioBooster will test unique solution at BIOFOS wastewater utility
Grundfos BioBooster has been asked to demonstrate its membrane technology at BIOFOS, the largest wastewater utility in Denmark. Over the coming years, a project focusing on energy efficiency will be implemented at the Damhusåen treatment plant in central Copenhagen. Here, BIOFOS – the largest wastewater utility in Denmark – and Grundfos BioBooster will look at ways in which the BioBooster technology can optimise the use of wastewater resources, the ultimate aim being for the Damhusåen treatment plant to generate more energy than it consumes.

BioBooster and Arla purifies cow water from mozzarella cheese production
Cow water can be a precious resource. At the Rødkærsbro dairy in Denmark, Arla Foods has cooperated closely with Grundfos BioBooster on developing a method for purifying and reusing cow water from mozzarella cheese production. The partnership opens up new and exciting prospects for the development of the waterless dairy.

Herlev Hospital Report Event
After 4 years of working with pre-project, system design, testing and optimization focusing on the removal of residues and resistant bacteria, BioBooster is now very proud to announce the publication of the final report and results of the Herlev Hospital project.
For the occasion, BioBooster will arrange two events - one on 16/8/2016 in Copenhagen at the Herlev Hospital and a second one on 19/8/2016 at the Grundfos Center, in Bjerringbro.
BioBooster will explain what turned out to be the most effective solution for the removal of residues and how the operating economy looks like. It will also be reviewed the cleaning results, what proved to be the hardest substances to remove and what substances are considered as indicator substances. Finally, Biobooster will talk about risk assessments in relation to recycling, discharge of the treated wastewater, and more.
BioBooster Boosts Arla's Production
BioBooster produced high water quality for industrial applications for Arla-Vimmerby, in Sweden.
The dairy planned to expand production by circa 50 percent. Because of its environmental commitment and the high cost of water, BioBooster was the perfect solution.
