In 2005, the year of Grundfos’ 60th jubilee, the Group achieved its largest ever pre-tax profit of DKK 1,254m. Thus – despite relatively high material costs and a weak US dollar – it was the third consecutive year of record earnings.

The positive result can primarily be attributed to a substantial growth in sales combined with an increased focus on controlling costs and investment. In regard to business as well as ethics, the Grundfos Group is doing its utmost to prepare for the challenges of the future.
