Grundfos appoints Peter Trillingsgaard new Vice President for Group Communication

Peter Trillingsgaard joins Grundfos on 1 June and will be part of the Group’s
Extended Leadership Team.

“Peter is a great leader, a real team player and has a very impressive track record within his field. On top of that, he has his heart in the right place and will play a key role in further establishing and expanding our touchpoints with key stakeholders – both internally and externally,” says Mads Nipper.

Peter Trillingsgaard joins from LEGO, where he as Vice President was responsible for Government- and Public Affairs. He held that position for seven years. In total, he has a 14-year tenure in the LEGO Group.

A task, I accept with the deepest respect for the company’s history and values, and for its work in solving some of the world’s most serious challenges. This goes, among other things, for our contribution to mitigating the manmade climate impact and the important mission to bring water to the world’s poorest,” says Peter Trillingsgaard.

Peter Trillingsgaard holds a master’s in Social Science and History from the University of Aalborg. This has been supplemented with studies at The International Institute for Management Development (IMD) and The Centre for Corporate Public Affairs.

He started his career as an advisor to the Social Democratic Party in the European Parliament and later moved on to the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI), where he among other things headed the CSR activities, such as the UN Global Compact, which DI was the first industry association to sign.

The career at the LEGO Group has among other things covered CSR, Code of Conduct, establishing the LEGO Group local community engagement programme, responsibility for product safety and compliance and most recently, he has established a global Public Affairs organisation.

In addition, he has held several positions of trust, including board member of the Toy Industry of Europe, Chairman of the Danish Toy Association and Chairman of the CEN and ISO Toy Safety Committees.
