Grundfos contributes to new home for Chinese pandas

At Grundfos, we see the new facilities as a token of the good and close
relationship between Denmark and China, as well as between Grundfos and China.
Therefore, we would like to contribute to the construction of the facilities.
At the same time, we are looking forward to showing the facilities to our
international business partners, says Kim Nøhr Skibsted, Group Vice President,
Communication, Public Affairs and Engagement.

The first turf for the panda facility was cut the other day by prime
minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen and the Chinese ambassador to Denmark, Deng Ying.
During his speech, the prime minister recognised the great shared effort, which
has paved the way for the arrival of two pandas by the end of 2018, and
he expressed his gratitude towards the diplomacy, the royal family, the
architects and the companies which have contributed to the construction.

According to the plan, the facilities will be ready by November 2018
after which it will be the new home of the two pandas and their potential offspring.
There will also be a shop, a restaurant and a meeting room. The facilities are
designed by Bjarke Ingels Group and Scønherr Landskabsarkitekter
