Meet the BTME team

In Harrogate you will be able to meet three dedicated colleagues - each with their own specialisation.

Mark Webb, National Sales Manager, UK & Ireland

"I am excited to be back at the BTME this year, after a few years away. Irrigation and Groundwater are core to our business and having spent many years working with installers and contractors I have a good understanding of your pain points and requirements, as well as integration of our pumps and intelligent controls into your irrigation systems. I would be pleased to spend some time with you, discussing your needs and helping you find the correction solution. I look forward to seeing you on our stand at the BTME."

Chris Bell, Senior Service Sales, UK & Ireland

"I have accountability for supporting service solutions sales across the UK & Ireland. This includes site services such as maintenance support, through to providing digital offerings like our cloud based remote monitoring, pressure management and condition based monitoring solutions. Don't hesitate to get in touch, if you have any questios or want to discuss any service needs."

Duncan Leathley, Area Sales Director, UK & Ireland

"I have been in engineering for over three decades, nearly all of them working with pumping, water and wastewater solutions for the municipal and industrial sectors including groundwater and irrigation.

Having overall responsibility for the Water Utility division of Grundfos in the UK and Ireland my team and I are delighted to be able to support the BTME members throughout the year and more importantly at this years event in Harrogate after a gap of two years due to COVID-19.

At Grundfos we remain significantly aware of the challenges that BTME members face throughout the year.  With unpredictable changes in the environment leading to unseasonal rainfall and flood events to extended dry weather conditions that puts a significant strain on available water resources for effective irrigation.

We support our customers by applying our innovative solutions to deal with these challenges with energy efficient pump solutions and controls to abstract and transport water when and where it’s needed the most.  We also provide solar pumping solutions to further reduce energy costs helping our clients on their journey to net zero targets.

The team and I are truly looking forward to meeting BTME members during the exhibition at our stand number 345 in the aptly named Green Zone.  Water is a precious circular commodity and we all have a responsibly to use it wisely and effectively before it returns to the cycle through absorption and evaporation."
