The role is based in Bjerringbro or Brøndby, Denmark and is part of a collaborative, agile and international team. We are looking for an experienced bid professional.

We’re in pursuit of the silver lining of a bold, audacious target of making good business of bringing drinking water to millions of people who have limited or no access to sustainable water services today.
The bid manager is part of a cross-functional team, and is responsible for managing, coordinating and administering the proposal efforts on all proposals from Lifelink. It is our ambition to introduce systematic bid development, monitoring and management on improved access to water projects in order to be a better partner to key customers in the public and development sectors in emerging economies.
The team has a momentous task ahead of them to identify and set up key processes and parameters of quality, collaboration and impact.
Your job will take stamina and a lot of flexibility
- Establish and maintain bid development, monitoring, prioritisation and management procedures, including negotiations and concrete proposal coordination and writing
- Evaluate commercial value of bids
- Build relations and trust with key partners
- Lead systematic and ongoing evaluations of won and lost bids
What do you need to apply?
Most likely, you have a bachelor’s degree or similar. 5+ years of proven track record with complex global bids is a must, along with a deep commercial understanding of the bid market. You have worked in an international environment, speak, read and write English fluently and have a mindset to corporate across functions and geography. Skype calls is your best friend and you enjoy building personal relations across the distance, but also ready to travel about 4-6 weeks per year primarily to countries in Africa, Asia and South America. We are trial and error team – you must be ready to prioritise, cope with risk and failure, and able to motivate yourself and the team towards the next opportunity. Excellent communication and project management skills with an attention to detail is a must.
