Sr. Product Line Manager within Circulators

Do you want to enter a key product management role, where you will have the opportunity to affect the Grundfos customer value footprint to the highest extent?
Then take on a central position in our Building Services division where you will ensure that the small frequency controlled ALPHA products has the right product portfolio in place. The key cornerstone of this role is to assign the right portfolio direction based on in-house knowledge combined with new opportunities by working structured with customer pains and radical innovation to create value in domestic HVAC applications.

 

Ensure the right long-term product portfolio
As Product Line Manager in the Circulator program, you will be collaborating closely internally with our sales and development organization and externally with customers, industry experts and regional business development setups.

“Our small UPE (Electronically controlled circulator pumps for Domestic Building Services) product line is a high attention area within Grundfos where excellent portfolio management, execution mindset and analytic due diligence on future roadmaps will be noticed and rewarded within all functions of Grundfos.
The task is not only focussed around the product but also the different systems and offerings which can merge into a creation of higher customer value – so if you have the will to think outside the box on a box-product sold through wholesales, the chance is definitely present within this opportunity”   

 


As such, you will be the central hub in the organization for gathering information from all relevant sources and translate it into a strong product roadmap. In short, your responsibility will be to:
 

-Drive and lead the 5-year Product Roadmap linked to the overall strategy
-Gain and consolidate a deep understanding of the customer experience
-Identify and specify new projects based on customer and market input and validate in business cases
-Collect, consolidate and analyse competitor and market data and propose actions
-Support development projects from a commercial angle
-Scope and Prioritize Product Lifecycle management activities
-Communicate the product roadmap, overall product strategy and application knowledge to relevant stakeholders internally and externally 
-Strong technical competences with commercial flair

 

You are among the core professionals in our building Services division, with a solid commercial mindset and the ability to understand technical matters quickly. On a personal level, you thrive in diverse work processes and can build wide and effective networks both inside and outside the organisation. You are an excellent communicator and work well in a pressurised environment cooping constructively with setbacks and challenges. You relate well to people at all levels and by being quick to engage with, creating trust and by identifying exactly where value can be created for customers and Grundfos in a complex array of business challenges.

 


You are among business development- and technical manager colleagues, highly specialised as well as highly competent in all its general aspects. On a personal level, you thrive in diverse work processes and can seamlessly join new teams when the need arises. Having excellent leadership and managing skills, you are quick to engage with, create trust, and identify exactly where value can be created in a complex array of business challenges.

 

-You have several years of relevant work experience and solid knowledge in working product management from a commercial angle
-You preferably have industry experience within HVAC for the domestic buildings segment and are familiar with working in a large manufacturing environment
-You either possess a master’s degree in business development engineering and have technical flair or an Engineering Degree and at the same time have a           commercial mindset (preferably backed up by commercial courses)
-Proficiency in English, verbally and written, is a must
