Solving the world’s climate challenges alongside Grundfos partners and customers

Grundfos welcomed 200 partners and customers to unlock new possibilities in reducing electricity consumption and improving energy efficiency in buildings of the future.

The event, called Explore NEXT, took place for the first time at the company’s global headquarters in Bjerringbro, Denmark, where partners and Grundfos experts participated in an innovation hack. The event focused on co-innovating and co-creating HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) and water system solutions.

Today, 40% of Europe’s total energy consumption comes from buildings. This means if we don’t rethink the design systems within our buildings, and we don’t do it fast enough, we cannot solve our world’s growing climate challenges. By working together with customers and partners, we are truly able to envision the energy efficient solutions we need for tomorrow”, says Morten Bach Jensen, CEO of Domestic Buildings Services Division.

The innovation hack was the final event following the Explore NEXT Truck Tour. The Explore NEXT truck travelled across Europe over the last eight weeks to connect with partners and customers on the latest HVAC and water innovations.

We are grateful to those who participated in this experience with us. There were many new, creative ideas brought to the table to address energy savings in both commercial and domestic buildings of the future, and we look forward to exploring what truly is next for these concepts“, says Bent Jensen, CEO of Commercial Buildings Services Division.
