Life-cycle considerations continued to play a key role in our environmental improvement work in 2002, with environmental conditions are taken into account in all phases of the production. Customer cases in environmental responsibility show how our pumps provide water from inaccessible places, dose chemicals in the correct quantities and dispose of wastewater in a responsible manner.

We were granted the European Commission’s Danish environmental improvement award in the “Good Environmental Management” category and a further award for environmental reporting. There was a 21% reduction in accident frequency and a 7% decrease in the number of chemicals used in production.
