Dear Grundfos customer,

This is to provide you with important safety information. Based on our own investigations, we have come to the conclusion that you might have products that under a number of circumstances may pose a risk of electric shock during operation.

The products in question have been produced from week 1, 2017, to and including week 2, 2018, and are:

  • Grundfos UNILIFT AP 12 1-PHASE
  • Grundfos UNILIFT AP 35 1-PHASE
  • Grundfos UNILIFT AP 50 1-PHASE

It is only the above-mentioned pumps used in any kind of mobile applications that pose a risk. This covers e.g. pumps used for dewatering garden ponds. Already installed pumps in fixed installations are assessed safe for continuous fixed use.

If you are in doubt about your installation, do not touch the pump or connected system.

If you have one of the affected products, then immediately contact Grundfos or a Grundfos Partner. Avoid using the product in mobile applications until it has been reworked. Grundfos will rework affected pumps and cover expenses.
