In recent weeks, the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) and SSE Airtricity have issued urgent safety warnings and announced a recall of more than 100,000 circulator pumps. These alerts have raised widespread concern among installers, merchants, and homeowners across Ireland—especially ahead of the colder months when heating systems are in high demand.
