Gujarat has witnessed a surge in COVID-19 cases across the State and the government has been working hard to curtail the spread of the virus. With this contribution, Grundfos India extends its support to the State government as it continues tackling this ongoing pandemic.

George Rajkumar, Country President, Grundfos India said, “As health professionals warn us about the potential implication of COVID-19 in the coming days, governments are at an inflection point to boost medical infrastructure across the country. We hope our humble contribution will in some way enable the Gujarat state government in facilitating the necessary support to areas that need immediate assistance.”

Along with Grundfos, The Grundfos Foundation has been consistently working towards supporting communities across India during this COVID-19 crisis. During the first wave of COVID-19, The Grundfos Foundation funded two villages in Gujarat through its Community Engagement Grant to provide safety kits to more than 17,000 residents of Vadsar and Moti Bhoyan villages near Grundfos India’s facility in Dantali, Gujarat. About 630 underprivileged families in these villages also received food kits with provisions for one month.
