Grundfos India supports Jal Jeevan Mission in exploring business and partnership opportunities

Company partners with CII to organize a National Conference on “Jal Jeevan Mission: Emerging Partnership Opportunities”

New Delhi, September 4, 2020: Jal Jeevan Mission is one the most ambitious programmes announced by the Government of India to provide piped water supply to every rural household by 2024. Grundfos India, a global leader in advanced pump solutions and water technology, is the Gold sponsor on ‘Jal Jeevan Mission: Emerging Partnership Opportunities’ conference being hosted by the Confederation of Indian Industries’ (CII) today.

This conference had participation from senior Centre, State Governments and Jal Jeevan Mission officials, experts and industry leaders from the Water Sector (Technology and Water Solution Providers). The key objective of this platform is to bring together these stakeholders and their expertise to overcome the challenges in rising demand-supply gaps in water, solutions to manage water in a smart, efficient and environmentally sustainable manner and bring water to rural households.

Given Grundfos India’s strong alignment to the United Nation’s Sustainability Development Goal (SDG) 6 that focuses on water, the company is supporting this virtual interactive conference. Grundfos also believes that strong partnerships, smart technology and educated customers are essential to be able to bring water to remote or rural areas.
