GRUNDFOS EAST AFRICA
Grundfos has been a prominent and trusted brand in East Africa due to a strong distribution network. As of 2013, Grundfos was established in Kenya as a sales company and with a hand full of staff took on the responsibility of covering the East and Central Africa region. From Grundfos Kenyan base, the business caters for 17 nations in the region, virtue of its resident country managers, various partnership agreements, or distribution channels. Currently, Grundfos East Africa employs 16 staff, of which country managers are home-based in DRC, Ethiopia and Tanzania.
Building services, water utility and industrial applications being our predominant focus, we strive on supporting the market through product and application training, driving specification in the market and aftersales service support. We are looking to strengthen our reach to offer our services even more comprehensively to the other East and Central African countries; spreading our aspiration to be a global leader and trendsetter in advance pump solutions and water technologies.
With an emphasis on aftersales support, Kenya based sales office offers a fully equipped repair workshop for minor or major repairs and technicians on standby to assist with any installation onsite or via virtual communication. The workshop also heads the competence centre for Grundfos Remote Management, a platform where Grundfos installations can be viewed and monitored remotely, to ensure catastrophic breakdowns are avoided and to make it easy to schedule maintenance
Our showroom offers a large display of various products and form part of our state-of-the-art training facilities, where we host training on basic product to in-depth application training, conducted by our own staff or Grundfos international colleges.

The company employs around 19,700 people today. Poul Due Jensen founded the company in 1945 from his basement in Bjerringbro, Denmark. The first pump made was a water pump. Through the decades, we have sharpened our skills, and to this day, we take pride in moving water to where it should be. Using as little energy as possible when doing it.
