Grundfos strengthens its commitment to local communities with new volunteer policy

Grundfos has a long history of encouraging and supporting employees who wish to volunteer and participate in community giving activities, and we have always been mindful of our role in society, both in local and global communities. As the next step in our commitment to support employees and their local communities, we proudly launch a new volunteer policy, giving all our employees the chance to take three days paid time off to do volunteer work.

The new policy focuses on three main areas of volunteering that directly align with our purpose:

  • Water: Supporting programs and activities assisting in reaching availability of sustainable clean water and sanitation for all.
  • Climate Action: Reducing our negative impacts on the environment.
  • People: Engaging in collaborations with local charities or NGOs (Non-Governmental Organization) with the focus of improving the quality of people’s lives.

The policy applies to all Grundfos regular full-time, part-time, and fixed-term employees, including internal temporary workers.

In Grundfos, we aspire to extend our global impact through employee engagement and community impact. Learn more about community engagement activities at Grundfos here
