Grundfos Takes Part in the WAX Seminar & Workshops

Grundfos was in alliance with the Danish embassy for this event, alongside several renowned Danish companies, including AVK, Glturbo, Danfoss and Tps-sariya, to present the latest solutions and products. Also attending were senior decision- makers from the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA), & representatives from the National water company (NWC), the Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) and King Saud University.

Reema Al Noghaither communication and public affair specialist instead of WAX seminar manager Said: “The WAX Seminar event was an opportunity to meet decision makers, experts, and scientists to share expertise in order to find innovative and comprehensive solutions for water resource problems in Saudi Arabia, with billions of dollars’ worth of projects in water reuse. It aims to acquaint customers with the new generations of optimized designs provided by Grundfos and other Danish companies and assist them in winning tenders in the future project contracts for the undergoing city and project constructions, with the Kingdom planning to invest in the country’s sewage collection and treatment infrastructure and achieve 100% wastewater reuse for agricultural and industrial use in upcoming years.”

“Water re-use projects are becoming increasingly common as an alternative means of meeting rising water demands in Saudi Arabia, with a high level of urbanization and low levels of annual rainfall,” says Søren Skjalm-Rasmussen, Director of Grundfos' Water Utility Business Development. “With Grundfos, you can optimize, treat and pressure manage water supply all the way to the end user, and we offer reliability and modularity for collecting, transporting and treating wastewater.”

Rasmussen added: “Grundfos brings innovative technology to the water utility market, in line with our commitment to sustainability. Our broad range of equipment and solutions designed specifically for water utility applications ensure that water supply and wastewater facilities meet future challenges and regulations, which further reinforces Grundfos position as a trendsetter in the Pump industry.”
