Grundfos has presented solid half-year results and expects to achieve its targets for 2025. The company’s US venture has resulted in double-digit growth in the strategically important US market, and several other markets have also developed positively.

Grundfos, one of the world’s leading companies in advanced water solutions, today announces its results for the first six months of 2025.

Grundfos is back on a solid growth trajectory, maintaining a robust EBIT ratio (before special items) above its strategic target of 10%.

The strong results were primarily driven by double-digit growth in Grundfos’ largest market, the USA. In recent months, the encouraging progress has been complemented by two strategically important initiatives designed to further consolidate the company’s position in the US market. These include plans for a new factory in Texas and the acquisition of the North American water treatment company Newterra.

Strategic investment yielding results

”With our ambition to double revenue in the US by 2030, it is very encouraging to see that our strategic focus on this key market is yielding results. I am pleased that we have succeeded in strengthening our position and advancing our business in the USA,” says Poul Due Jensen, Group President and CEO of Grundfos.

In addition to the USA, Grundfos has experienced strong growth in several markets, especially in the Middle East, recording high double-digit growth rates, as well as solid growth in India and Southern Europe. While growth remains sluggish in the important markets of Germany and the UK, order intake is showing an upward trend there as well.

“I am incredibly proud that we are delivering solid growth in an uncertain market and expanding our global leadership position in water solutions. Together with our customers, partners and employees, we make a positive difference to the world’s water and climate challenges with our energy-efficient and water-saving solutions,” Poul Due Jensen points out.

Cutting-edge product launches will ensure future growth

In 2025, Grundfos has made significant strides on the product front by introducing multiple new products designed to support future growth. These include products that combine intelligent features with unparalleled energy efficiency (TPE3 series) and groundbreaking digital technology that ensures optimum pump utilisation and thereby reduces energy consumption (ALPHA GO series).

“Our new strategy, launched earlier this year, specifically emphasises acquisitions, innovation, and the US market, and we have made progress on all three parameters in the first half of the year,” says Poul Due Jensen and adds: “My 21,000 colleagues have done an excellent job over the past six months, and I look forward to continuing the positive development together in the second half of the year. Our growth target of 4-7% for 2025 remains intact, even as strong global turbulence and uncertainty persist”.
