New facility opened in the Philippines
The investment underscore Grundfos’ ongoing commitment towards clean and sustainable living environments in the Philippines through the latest water technologies – highlighted by the focus: “Transforming Lives Tomorrow, Today”.
- Today is a very special day for Grundfos and together with our Partners we mutually embrace the long-term commitment to delivering clean and potable water to every Filipino home, said Rick Holland, General Manager of Grundfos Philippines.
Spread over 5,400 square meters, the new premises features a spacious duplex warehouse as well as test facilities and training rooms. With these new facilities, Grundfos Philippines is now better-equipped to train representatives and engage customers through product demos and technical discussions.
Guests were invited to tour the new facility and view an impressive display of specialty pumps and cutting-edge water treatment systems and solutions that cater to residential, commercial, municipal, industrial and mining needs. Also as part of the official opening ceremony, the theatric group Teatro Marikeño and Solficio de San Jose Children’s Hour, welcomed guests and during the evening a celebration dinner was held to commemorate this landmark occasion.
Grundfos works closely with De La Salle University (DLSU), a top institution for teaching Mechanical Engineering in Manila. To formalise this unity during the ceremony a Memorandum of Agreement was signed with the University and in the future Grundfos Philippines will share technical expertise by conducting lectures and career talks, donate technical material materials and software programmes for the advancement of technical learning, and initiate a cadetship programme for intern engineers from DLSU.
