Grundfos wins Singapore Health Award 2012

Grundfos Singapore is one of the award recipients in SILVER category for the Singapore Health Award 2012. It is 2nd time that Grundfos Singapore has won the award, the last being bronze award in 2010.

The Singapore HEALTH Award (Helping Employees Achieve Life-Time Health) is an indication of acknowledgement and recognition by the Health Promotion Board (HPB) of our organization’s efforts and commitment to promote health at work.

The Award distinguishes us as a caring employer who values our employees' health and wellbeing - a reputation that will help the Company attract and retain employees in the long run.

As the saying goes, “a HEALTHY employee is a HAPPY employee”. An organization’s productivity, performance and success depend greatly on the health and wellbeing of its employees, especially in today’s competitive and emerging market. Thus, Grundfos will continue to put in its efforts and commitment to help our employees lead a healthy and vibrant lifestyle. This is also to be in line with our value of People Focus and group’s policy to take care of the health and wellbeing of our employees.

The Silver Award gives us great motivation to continue with and enhance our program of workplace health initiatives to help our employees to keep fit and healthy; increase the quality and years of their life and prevent illness, disability and premature death. Furthermore, we hope that they will also take some of the learnings from these programs back home where their families can also benefit.

I do strongly encourage everybody to participate actively in these programs, maintain a healthy and active lifestyle and come back to work every day happy, healthy and with the highest motivation.
