Bahrain Dealer Day proves a smash hit

Grundfos’ first Bahrain Dealer Day on 8th May proved to be one of the busiest yet, attracting over 80 of the Kingdom’s top pump distributors and stockists.

Hosted in partnership with Grundfos’ local partner Areej Trading, the event was designed to build relationships with local dealers and introduce them to the latest exciting developments in domestic water pumping and pressure management.

Following introductions and welcome, the dealers were congratulated for their support in the 2017 sales promotions, which resulted in increased sales across the Grundfos domestic pump range.

Dealers then crowded round for the highlight of the day – a live demonstration of the groundbreaking Scala2 domestic pressure booster. One of the most popular new developments in the domestic market, dealers were keen to see, touch and experience for themselves, the ‘intelligent’ pump that delivers constant supplies of cool water for homeowners, even in the height of summer.

The new pump impressed all with its state-of-the-art engineering that cleverly packs pump, motor, tank sensor, drive and non-return valve in a simple and compact ‘plug and pump’ unit that’s quick to fit and easy to control for the homeowner.

Next came a discussion and training session on the Grundfos PM2 and PM Twin pressure control pumps, during which Grundfos and Areej technical experts highlighted their adaptability and benefits in handling a range of start-up pressures, enabling systems to be adjusted for different applications and comfort levels.

When presentations were complete, the dealers were given time to network and discuss local issues on a one-to-one basis with Grundfos and Areej sales and technical experts, prior to a formal dinner.

Grundfos Sales Manager, Aaron Alex Fernandes was delighted with the response from dealers, “This was a great opportunity for both Areej and ourselves to get to know our dealers and build relationships for the future. We we’re delighted with the fantastic response, which underlines the growing levels of interest and support for Grundfos’ world-leading pump range, throughout the Middle East.”
