Grundfos showcases high performance pumps to the Omani market
With more than 40-years’ experience in tools and irrigation equipment, GSIS, part of the ARABI holding group, has a well-established base of customers who expect high quality solutions. The objective of the day was to introduce them to Grundfos’ wide range of high-efficiency domestic pumps and the many features that have enabled them to be the first choice for domestic users across the world.
Over 70 guests, comprising retailers, plumbers and technicians, attended the event which included live demos, engaging presentations, enlightening videos, led by Jose Pappen, Boosters Product Manager from Grundfos.
A key message throughout was the importance of selecting the right type and size of pump and the right level of protection for each application, rather than simply choosing based on power and price. By providing a greater choice of high quality, engineered pumps and controls, Grundfos provides customers reliable and cost-effective solutions that use minimum energy, .
After presenting the full range of Grundfos solutions, the highlight of the day was a launch presentation and demonstration of Grundfos’ ground-breaking SCALA2. A live demo enabled customers to witness the silent operation of the pump - a compact, smooth operator that is easy to connect, flexible and offers outstanding benefits all round.
The unique pump, that ensures constant water pressure at all outlets in virtually all domestic applications, was a big hit with everyone – especially the plumbers, who liked the self-priming function, which overcomes one of their biggest challenges at start-up.
The event gave Grundfos the opportunity to stress the importance of sustainable pump solutions in addressing major local and global challenges of water management and climate change, and also enabled them to discuss application-related issues with customers on a one-to-one basis.
As Pappen said, “We were able to give customers the confidence not only to choose the optimal pump solutions for any job, and promote them to their customers, but to know that, no matter how complex the project is, they would always have a team of Grundfos and GSIS experts behind them locally, to give advice and support when needed.”
