Grundfos SQ a hit with Kurdistan dealers
17-04-2019
With the pressure on in north-western Iraq to re-establish water supplies devastated by years of conflict, Grundfos has been working with dealers in the Kurdistan region to promote its latest high-efficiency solution for groundwater extraction.
Launched in September 2018, the new 3” multi-stage centrifugal pump is easy to install and operate in small boreholes and provides a cost effective and reliable groundwater extraction solution for the region’s homeowners and farmers.
Using specially designed practical demonstration units, Grundfos Water Utility specialist, Waleed Noubani, showed dealers how built-in benefits like dry-run prevention, wide voltage range, overload protection and soft-start capability made this a perfect solution in the light of Iran’s Iraq’s unstable power supplies.
As well as learning about and seeing the many benefits of this small but powerful pump for themselves, the workshops were designed to give delegates the knowledge and confidence to present the new pump to potential customers, thus effectively creating new ‘Ambassadors’ to carry the SQ message to the widest possible audience.
“It can be difficult to share the long-term operational and cost advantages of high efficiency pumps like the Grundfos SQ” said Mr. Noubani, “but with their new in-depth understanding of the lifetime costs, delegates will be able to make better informed buying decisions.
Feedback from dealers and installers following the events showed they were excited and motivated by the opportunities offered by the new SQ pump and that they expected to increase sales significantly over the coming months.
