Lebanon switches on to Grundfos circulators

Lebanon’s heating & cooling industry is now switched on to the benefits of Grundfos’ world-leading circulation pumps following a special training and networking event on 10th August that brought together the country’s top HVAC installers and merchants.

Around 120 new and existing installers and distributors joined Grundfos sales and training specialists for the event in Beirut, which focused on the company’s advanced water circulation solutions, used throughout the Middle East to provide highly efficient, trouble-free pumping in a wide range of heating and hot-water applications.

The event was centred around two of the company’s most popular circulators, Grundfos CM, or Centrifugal Modular, a range of compact multi-stage pumps for temperature control and pressure boosting in both domestic and large-scale industrial applications, and maintenance-free Grundfos UPS canned-rotor pumps, used widely in hot water service and air-conditioning systems.

Following a detailed presentation on the two pump types, the event took a more competitive turn, with guests invited to showcase their pump knowledge in a short 6- question quiz. The six top-scoring guests were then invited to get ‘hands-on’ with a two-stage time challenge that involved assembling both of the different pump types. It was all worth the effort, however, with two lucky winners walking away with a top prize of a state-of-the-art 49” LG smart TV and runner-up prize of a 10” HP laptop computer.

At the end of the evening, each guest was presented with a specially printed Grundfos T-shirt and cap to help build brand awareness and ensure that nobody left the event empty-handed.

Commenting on the event, Local Grundfos Sales Director, Mohammad Arar said “Training is a  key focus for us, helping to ensure that Grundfos customers can expect a uniform high level of knowledge and service from their suppliers and contractors. This very successful event not only allowed us to reinforce the benefits of our hot water pumps, but gave new and established installers and distributors the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences in a friendly, relaxed environment.”
