Mikael joined Grundfos in 2014 as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He is a member of Grundfos Group Management, upholding the responsibility for the global functions Finance, IT, Legal, M&A, and Facility Management.
Since 2020, Mikael has been Chair of the Board in DAB Group, a company owned by Grundfos and headquartered near Padova, Italy.
With a background as a lawyer and an MBA (INSEAD), Mikael has worked with leadership, strategy and with creating profitable and sustainable growth for 30 years. Prior to joining Grundfos he has, among other things, held different positions in the Rockwool Group and Ørsted.
Mikael is a board member in DLG A.M.B.A., and vice-chair of Kredsløb, a public utility. Additionally, he is a member of the Central Board of Danish Industry (DI), vice-chair of the sector federation DI Danish Manufactures, and a member of the CSRD Advisory Board.
