Addressing Alexandria’s water challenges

The challenges faced in developing effective water and wastewater networks in the face of growing demand throughout Lower Egypt, were top-of-mind for engineers during a Grundfos training event in July.

Held under the auspices of Egypt’s Government-owned Holding Company for Water and Wastewater, the organisation responsible for utilities throughout the country, the event saw 25 of the country’s top water engineers meet at Grundfos recently-opened Alexandria office for a mix of technical training and open discussion, during which the challenges faced in developing effective and affordable pumping systems were a key focus.
