Grundfos at your door step

The Grundfos Egypt team has been out in force throughout northern Egypt to introduce the company to new and existing industrial and commercial customers.

Billed as the Grundfos Egypt Service Week, the campaign took place over five days from 28th January to 1st February and involved a coordinated team of Grundfos sales and commercial people, including specialists from the company’s Commercial Building Services, Industrial and Water Utility sales teams, as well as members of the Grundfos Egypt marketing and service departments.

The objective was to knock on the doors of every major industrial and commercial customer in the area to ensure that they were aware of Grundfos’ market leading range of pumps and systems and introduce some of the recent developments in advanced pump technology designed to cut energy use, reduce maintenance and improve efficiency in everything from manufacturing processes to buildings and water and waste handling systems.

Rather than a one-off event, the visits were designed to gather information and build contacts as the basis for ongoing relationships and introduce the service benefits that are available to customers from both Grundfos and its network of approved service partners throughout Egypt and the wider Middle East.

Whilst the week proved hectic for the Grundfos team, the positive feedback they received at every call has ensured that the event will be marked down as a great success.

“Whilst most of the customers we visited were aware of Grundfos, few realized the extent of our range, or the developments that are now taking place in automated high efficiency pumping systems,” said Grundfos Service Manager, Mohamed Yehia El Sayed. Equally important, we were able to introduce them to key elements of our new service offering, including the Pump Audit and Energy Check, which could be invaluable in identifying and correcting inefficiencies in their existing pump systems.”
