Grundfos pumps it up in Egypt

Grundfos’ range of state-of-the-art pumping solutions proved a real draw for visitors to the Infra Africa & Middle East Expo exhibition and conference, which ran this year from 17-19 October at Egypt’s Cairo International Convention Centre.

Supported by the Egyptian Government and Economic and Trade bodies from throughout Egypt and Africa, the exhibition was designed to showcase sustainable infrastructure solutions for manufacturers and consultants from a range of diverse sectors, from manufacturing and energy production, through to oil & gas and construction. With water supply and distribution critical to virtually all of the country’s future development, pumping solutions were high on everyone’s agenda.

An estimated 15,000 government and industry visitors were introduced to Grundfos’ world-leading range of pumping solutions, with everything from simple circulation pumps to the latest SMART Digital diaphragm dosing pumps and state-of-the-art intelligent pumping systems designed to optimise system performance and energy efficiency, providing popular discussion points.

“With the construction sector booming, and a range of massive infrastructure projects now on the drawing board – including plans to reclaim vast areas of Egypt’s northern desert, water supply and distribution were key issues for most stand visitors”, said Grundfos Egypt, Libya and Sudan General Manager (Ehab Eshak).

Our team dealt with a range of subjects from ground and surface water extraction and distribution to disinfection and accurate dosing, as well as process management and control with automated fully-integrated systems that adapt to changing demands.

“We were able to offer a range of reliable, low maintenance solutions using Grundfos products and systems that offered the levels of efficiency and low energy usage needed for applications across the full range of industries and operations involved.”
