The SB and SBA are submersible pressure booster pumps designed for use in domestic water supplies. Installed directly in a tank or well, they provide consistent water pressure where and when it’s needed in the home. The typical applications the pumps are used in include:

Water pressure boosting from roof tanks…

Or break tanks, either above… or below ground

Rainwater harvesting from outdoor cisterns… or indoor break tanks

Garden irrigation, using rainwater … or water drawn from shallow wells.

They can deliver flows of up to…  three cubic metres per hour, giving them the capacity to meet the needs of most domestic applications.

Built using corrosion-resistant composite and stainless-steel materials, the pumps offer exceptional reliability and durability and ensure consistent performance over time. SB and SBA pumps are equipped with either a stainless-steel inlet strainer… or a floating strainer. Both prevent large particles from entering the housing, protecting internal components and ensuring smooth operation.

Built-in safety features automatically stop operation in cases of overheating or dry running, …and once conditions return to normal, the pumps restart automatically. When submerged, the pumps operate silently, offering a quieter alternative to dry-installed pumps. They are also among the most energy-efficient pumps in their class, achieving a minimum efficiency index (MEI) of 0.70.

Installation is straightforward too, with each pump supplied with a lifting eye, a check valve, and 15 metres of electrical cable. In addition to these shared features, the SBA model also includes an integrated controller for plug-and-pump simplicity.
