The company, who have a clear mandate to deliver a positive impact on both the climate and water resources, can also clearly demonstrate that they practise what they preach. This is demonstrated by reducing their own energy consumption by 11% and water usage by 10%, compared to the same period of 2018.
With longer-term ambitions to reduce both water consumption and CO2 emissions by 50% by 2025 as well as a further goal of being climate positive by 2030, Grundfos take their sustainability ambitions very seriously as is evident within their recently launched 2025 strategy.
The Grundfos CEO Mads Nipper said: ”I am very proud that we are continuing with our momentum, that is positively impacting on the worlds water and climate challenges, by delivering significant energy savings to our customers and bringing safe drinking water to people in need”.
