BREXIT Statement

Due to continued uncertainties regarding the potential outcome of Brexit after the 29th March 2019 deadline, Grundfos has decided to take some immediate pro-active actions to prepare our business, pending the final outcome.

To mitigate some of the impact to our supply chain, we will be holding a small pilot stock of fast moving products at our Sunderland site. Other products will still be delivered from our Distribution Centre in The Netherlands. With a no deal scenario we anticipate an initial 7 day delay in shipping goods, which should improve to 1-2 days moving forward. We do however suggest that customers consider their own stockholding.

Changes in delivery schedules, could also impact the availability of spare parts to our service team, we will advise this on a job by job basis. We carry fast moving spares in our service vehicles, but these will not cover every situation.

We will need to pass on any additional customs or duty charges that may be levied and we have amended our terms and conditions of sale to reflect this change. These can be viewed here. We have also amended our express delivery service, where the customs delay could prevent any overnight deliveries, unless of course the goods are part of our local stock.

We are sure you can appreciate the current situation is very fluid, but be assured are doing everything we believe practical to mitigate any impact to our customers.
