Grundfos are ready to take the next step

It is unlikely that many of us will miss 2020 and the swingeing curtailments that it introduced into our lives. However, while there was a lot of doom and gloom around, some companies were quietly building their organisation ready for the future.

This is certainly true of Grundfos Pumps who recently hit their 70th anniversary milestone, and who are ever the innovators in terms of their developing pumping technologies as well as their adaptation to changing market demands.

With this in mind the company has now organised its sales, marketing, technology and operations functions to focus on four customer segments: Commercial Building Services, Domestic Building Services, Industry, and Water Utility. This is creating a more customer centric structure and is also looking towards the future by investing significantly in a wide range of digital capabilities.

These changes are being overseen by Poul Due Jensen who has 20 years’ experience in the industry and who now holds the position of CEO , leading a 19,000 strong global workforce.

All this means the momentum is in place to continue the strategic journey towards developing pioneering solutions for the world’s water and climate challenges, it is now onwards and upwards with four business pillars in place, giving them a solid foundation for what is to come.
