Twentytwo points out of 22

At 278m and with 62 storeys above ground and three below, 22 Bishopsgate, has got many reasons to be proud of its new lofty position as the second tallest building in the UK. But it’s height isn’t the only thing that makes this impressive combo that integrated advanced office facilities, retail outlets, food destinations, a gym, spa and no less than 1700 cycling spaces, stand out.

Now operational, this impressive structure has interwoven new technology into every aspect and its focus on detail and its awareness of its environmental impact, has contributed towards it gaining a BREEAM rating of Excellent. Contributing towards this are a wide range of the award winning, energy efficient Grundfos pumps and solutions, that are at a very heart of the HVAC, water boosting and pressurisation demands, that are so key within a building of this nature.

Combining its 1.275 million sq. ft. of office space, it also is the first building to offer in excess of 100,000 sq. ft. of integrated amenity and social spaces. With its fabulous location the views of London are not only spectacular, but are also accessible to visitors, via its free viewing gallery.

Grundfos are delighted to have played their part in such an important project that has so many good points, that have not only changed the skyline of London, it that is also breaking new records for encouraging an improved work/life balance.
