Servicing the Grundfos SOLOLIFT2

Discover how you can service your SOLOLIFT2 in just 3 minutes.

The Grundfos Sololift2 can be serviced in just 3 minutes, and with no mess!

In case of clogging, first try the de-blocking function. Start by unplugging the power supply and make sure that the inlet to the unit is stopped, and then turn off the inlet valve to the toilet cistern. Use a screwdriver to activate the de-blocking function via the small service hole on top of the unit at the service cover. Then remove the screwdriver from the unit. Reconnect the power and turn the inlet valve back on. Flush the toilet a couple of times to check if everything is working.  If the issue isn’t resolved, proceed to the next step.

Unplug the power supply and turn off the water inlet valve. Make sure that the water inflow is stopped from other connected appliances. Remove the water from the toilet bowl if necessary. The small connection on the side of the unit and the supplied tube can help lowering the water level.

Now, remove the unit’s cover – all it takes is a screwdriver. Next, remove the 4 screws that secure the pump-motor unit. Note that this entire operation remains on the clean side of the Sololift2.

Removing the pump-motor unit gives you easy access to the item that is clogging the system.

Once you’ve removed the item, you can replace the pump-motor unit, securing it with the four screws.

Replace the unit’s cover, securing it with the single screw.

Finally reconnect the power and turn the inlet valve back on.

It’s really as simple as that – with Grundfos.
