What is Take Back?

Our primary objective is to gather obsolete pumps and maximize the recycling rate.

Collaborating for Environmental Impact

In a joint effort to enhance environmental and social responsibility, installers, wholesalers, and Grundfos have united to champion the sustainable management of end-of-life circulator pumps through our Take Back and recycling program.

If you wish to make a positive impact on the environment, simply deposit your used pumps at your wholesaler. They will be forwarded to Grundfos, and we will take care of the rest

Why Take Back?

When the pump reaches end of live, it is in fact not the end.

We take back the pump and thereby help protect the environment.

We do this because we acknowledge our responsibility to ensure a sustainable production.

The Take Back program ensures that ALPHA, UP, COMFORT, MAGNA and SCALA are disassembled and the materials and components recycled.

Manual disassembly maximizes the percentage of material which can be recovered through recycling.

All you have to do is to deliver the end-of-life pumps to your local wholesaler or sign up to be a collector yourself, then we take care of the rest.
