Gurmit Brar, DCE Supervisor
Who am I
While my degree is in Computer Science, I joined Grundfos at out Fresno, CA location working in our UP Motor line. After 19 years in Fresno, I was given the opportunity to move to Allentown, PA to work on our CM line. During this time I started taking on more leadership opportunities as a team lead. In 2017 I became a Warehouse Supervisor, responsible for many vital functions within our facility.
I will always work to make changes for the better.
How I make a difference
I am very lucky to work with a great leadership team that took the time to train and share their knowledge with me. With this strong base I have been able to drive cross training activities, focus on employee safety, and provide open and honest communication with my employees to make our team the BEST. I will always work to make changes for the better.
What I think is special about Grundfos

I have been able to progress so far in my career and be where I am in today because Grundfos has programs that help continue your education and provide the additional resources needed to further develop my skills.

I am most proud to work for a company that cares so deeply about helping others. The company encourages us to help out in our community and even sets the example of hosting various Walks for Water. These walks and their fundraising events allow us to help bring safe and healthy water to communities that otherwise would not have access. The company has also had a hand in helping during the COVID-19 pandemic by delivering pumps that were needed to help build temporary hospitals. It is very cool to work for a company that so openly cares about others.
Fun fact
I am a certified instructor for Antigravity Yoga, which is a great way to unwind while staying active.
