For decades, MECO, Water Works, and Newterra have helped customers solve critical and complex water challenges through innovative purification technologies, deep engineering expertise, and responsive service. Whether delivering high-purity water solutions trusted by life sciences and industrial organizations or modular wastewater and remediation systems for municipal and environmental sectors, each company has built a strong foundation of trust across North America.
Today, we are pleased to announce the next step in that journey.
As part of the continued integration of Grundfos' water treatment businesses, MECO, Water Works, and Newterra are officially transitioning to the Grundfos Water Treatment Americas platform. This evolution brings together the specialized expertise of all three brands alongside Grundfos under a unified organization, creating a stronger, single platform to support customers across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, microelectronics, laboratory, municipal, industrial, infrastructure, and environmental markets.
One Platform. Expanded Capabilities.
By bringing these organizations together, Grundfos Water Treatment Americas creates a fully integrated water treatment business with expanded technologies, engineering resources, manufacturing capabilities, and service expertise.
Customers will benefit from a broader, comprehensive portfolio of water treatment solutions spanning the entire water lifecycle, including:
High-Purity & Process Water Systems: Source water and pretreatment, reverse osmosis, EDI, ultrapure water, Purified Water (PW) systems, Water for Injection (WFI) generation, pure steam systems, and demineralization.
Wastewater & Environmental Solutions: Industrial and municipal wastewater treatment, stormwater treatment, PFAS and emerging contaminant removal, and groundwater remediation.
Infrastructure & Specialized Systems: Potable water treatment, clarification and filtration technologies, storage and distribution, and modular/decentralized treatment facilities.
Lifecycle Support: DI services, validation support, routine maintenance, and ongoing technical support.
This integrated approach allows customers to access a wider range of cutting-edge technologies through a single, reliable water treatment partner.
What This Means for Customers
The transition to Grundfos Water Treatment Americas strengthens our ability to support operations in highly critical and regulated environments. Customers will gain direct access to the global resources, manufacturing scale, and combined strengths of MECO, Water Works, Newterra, and Grundfos—all while continuing to work with the local teams and experts they already know and trust.
Over the coming months, the Grundfos Water Treatment Americas name will begin appearing on quotations, proposals, invoices, websites, marketing materials, email communications, and other business documents as the transition progresses.
What Is Not Changing
While our name is evolving, our foundational commitment to our customers remains unchanged.
Uninterrupted Support: Existing customer relationships, ongoing projects, day-to-day contacts, technical expertise, and service responsiveness will continue seamlessly.
Regulated Markets Integrity: For customers operating in regulated industries, this transition will not impact product quality, quality management systems, validation support, supplier qualifications, documentation, or regulatory compliance support.
Project Execution: Engineering design, project timelines, and manufacturing standards will maintain the strict quality metrics previously established.
The same dedicated people, facilities, and customer-first focus remain at the center of everything we do.
Looking Ahead
The transition to Grundfos Water Treatment Americas reflects our continued commitment to delivering industry-leading water treatment solutions backed by the global expertise of Grundfos. By combining these unique strengths, we are creating a more resilient organization positioned to help our customers meet increasingly complex water and environmental challenges today and in the future.
We are deeply grateful for the trust our customers, partners, and suppliers have placed in us, and we look forward to continuing to serve you as Grundfos Water Treatment Americas.
