Temperature sensor

Temperature sensors are used in all kinds of building installations within ventilation, heating, air conditioning and such like.

The temperature sensor measures the temperature of the flowing media (water, air, etc.) media either directly via a sensor bush or indirectly via an attachment mounted on the pipe or duct.

Mechanical or electronic

Temperature sensors can be either mechanical, in the form of a traditional thermometer, or electronic sensors. Traditional thermometers are used only for monitoring, whereas electronic temperature sensors are used for control, where the signal is processed digitally, for example in a building management system (BMS).
