Conditions of participation

The competition is organised by Grundfos Holding A/S, Poul Due Jensens Vej 7, 8850 Bjerringbro, Denmark (“Grundfos” or “Organiser”). Anyone who is at least 18 years old can enter. 

You can only enter the competition if you register at https://www.grundfos.com/campaign/listen-to-your-data and attend in person at Aquatech, Europaplein 24, Amsterdam, 6 – 9 November 2023. After entering your contact details in the form and accepting the terms and conditions and privacy policy for the prize draw, you will be entered into the prize draw. 

No purchase is required to participate or win. 

Competition procedure

The “LEARN & Win” competition at Aquatech, Europaplein 24, Amsterdam will take place on all four days of the event mentioned above. After successfully registering at https://www.grundfos.com/campaign/listen-to-your-data and accepting the conditions of participation in person, the participant will have one chance of participating in the lottery to win one of the four prizes as specified below. 

On 6, 7, 8 and 9 November 2023, a number will be selected at random from the entries at around 4:00 p.m. If the winner is present at the stand of the organiser, the winner will be given the prize. If the winner is not present for the draw it will be declared invalid and a new ticket will be drawn.

The winner will be drawn at the Organiser’s stand Halle 2, Stand 02.120F, Digital Water Pavilion.

Prizes

Both prizes are non-cash prizes (e.g. credit notes).

The prizes cannot be exchanged to cash, and cannot be exchanged to other products. 

Exclusion of liability

The organiser will only be liable for intent and gross negligence.

Personal data provided in the context of participation will only be stored, processed and used by Grundfos for the purpose of conducting and running the competition and, if separately agreed by the participant, for the purpose of advertising its own products or services. The data will not be passed on to third parties. The participant can revoke the declaration of consent at any time with future effect. Grundfos reserves the right to discontinue the competition without giving a reason.

Taxation of the prize 

Winners could be taxable of the prize in their local countries. Therefore, winners might be obliged under local law to recognise the value of the prize. If in doubt, the participant should seek local advice at their own costs. 

Cancellation, changes and exclusion

Grundfos is entitled to cancel or change the scope of the competition at any time due to unforeseen circumstances and the participants are not entitled to any compensation in this regard.

The Organiser reserves the right to exclude participants from the competition for good cause and to request the return of prizes, in particular if there is justified suspicion or proof of false information, manipulation, violation of these conditions of participation or other unauthorised acts.

The participants release the Organiser from any liability.

Should any of these conditions of participation be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining conditions of participation will remain unaffected.

These conditions of participation can be changed at any time by the Organiser without prior notice.

Law and venue 

All matters arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark. Any recourse to courts of law is excluded. This provision is void where prohibited or restricted by law. In this case, any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions, which the parties have been unable to settle amicably, must be settled by the courts of Denmark.  

Draw is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
