What we do to improve accessibility

Our aim is to ensure everyone accessing grundfos.com and other Grundfos digital services, from any location and using any browser, operating system, device or assistive technology, finds the content they need quickly and easily.

We’re taking the following measures to ensure accessibility:

• Aiming to produce all new content, and regularly reviewing existing content, in accordance with current accessibility standards.
• Including accessibility as part of our internal policies.
• Providing regular accessibility training for employees.
• Applying formal accessibility quality assurance methods within the organisation.

How we conform

Site accessibility target
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA standards developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Current status
Partially conformant. Some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

How we strive to improve

In order to improve, we undergo regular review processes to ensure best practice and key accessibility features are implemented throughout the site, including but not limited to:

• Improving navigation and user journeys
• Adding missing alternative text to images
• Replacing burned-in with Closed Caption subtitles on videos
• Reviewing contrast and colour throughout the site
• Aiming to ensure PDFs uploaded or linked to from the site conform to accessibility standards
• Testing our sites for suitability for a variety of mobile and desktop devices
• Using independent tools such as WAVE and Siteimprove to identify areas we need to improve and responding to user feedback

We also make every effort to ensure any third-party content or services we use or link to follow accessibility standards, but cannot guarantee their compliance.

How we assess

Grundfos assesses the accessibility of this site using the following methods:

• Self-evaluation: the site is evaluated internally by the company or organisation.
• External evaluation: the site is evaluated by an external entity not involved in the design and development process.

Adjusting text size

If you find the text too small or difficult to read, you can change the text size using keyboard shortcuts or within your browser settings:

• Keyboard shortcut: press Ctrl (or Command on a Mac) and + to enlarge text, or Ctrl/Command and - to make it smaller.
• Browser menus: look for “Zoom” or “Text Size” in your browser’s settings menu.

Navigating with a keyboard

We aim to support full keyboard navigation across our website.

• Use Enter to activate a selected item, and Esc to close menus or pop-ups.
