A scientific day for the girls

405 girls from nine local schools in central Jutland visited Grundfos in Bjerringbro as part of Girls Day in Science to experience how we work with data and water treatment to create sustainable solutions of the future.

How do we choose the most sustainable materials for the houses of the future, and how do we purify our wastewater so that we can ensure clean drinking water in the future? These are just a few of the questions that were posed.

Rikke Gissel, Water Treatment Specialist, Helena Coco, Laboratory Technician and Signe Horn Thomsen, Data Specialist were on hand to introduce the exciting topics to the young students – and act as role models.
