Glasgow hospital will provide extra COVID-19 testing facilities

As the fight against COVID-19 continues around the world; we know that fast, accurate testing plays an important role in the attempt to contain this pandemic.

Throughout the UK, including in Scotland, the demand for testing continues to outstrip the available laboratory capacity, which means that the new testing facility at NHS Gartnavel hospital in Glasgow, is very welcome news. 

With a tight turnaround time to achieve the required opening, GB worked collaboratively with specifiers, contractors, distributions partners as well as our Service team to get this site up and running in a tight timeframe. The new facility, that is due to go live this week, will benefit from a full range a Grundfos solutions including circulators, a booster set and a pressurisation unit.
