Leading innovation in energy-efficient pump technology and recognised for outstanding product design at the German Design Awards 2026.
Grundfos, one of the world’s leading companies in energy-efficient water solutions, has received the German Design Awards 2026 for its cutting-edge ALPHA GO circulator range. Launched in June last year, the ALPHA GO won the category "Excellent Communications Design - Integrated Campaigns and Advertising".
The award, given by the respected German Design Council, recognises ALPHA GO as a leader in innovation and design excellence among over 3,900 entries from 57 countries.
Jan Claussen, Regional Product Manager, received the award on behalf of Grundfos
" We are extremely proud of this achievement, as it reflects our commitment to innovation and delivering the very best for our customers. The ALPHA GO represents a completely new approach to domestic heating solutions. Designed for both standalone and integrated applications, it combines simplicity with advanced technology to meet the needs of a wide range of heating systems," says Jesper Olesen, Vice President and Head of Solutions & Marketing in Grundfos’ Domestic Building Services.
Innovative and energy efficient
The versatility of ALPHA GO allows just two pump models to replace most stand-alone and nearly 70% of integrated circulator pumps, streamlining inventory for wholesalers and installers alike.
ALPHA GO’s highly efficient operation not only reduces energy consumption by up to 55%, but also minimizes the overall environmental footprint, with 95% of its impact stemming from end-user usage.[1]
