Fresno, California
Grundfos has opened a new dosing skid system production line at its Fresno, California facility, further expanding its manufacturing footprint in the United States and strengthening its focus on solutions for the water treatment market.

The opening was marked by a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by Grundfos leaders, employees, and key channel partners. The new line brings dosing skid assembly into the same facility where Grundfos already manufactures pumps and systems, creating a more integrated production setup.

The investment is designed to simplify the supply chain, improve production flow, and better align manufacturing with customer needs across the Americas.

“Today is an exciting step forward for Industry Americas and for our ambition to win in the US,” said Jay Stellmacher, General Manager, Industry Americas. “This investment reflects our strategic focus on becoming a stronger provider of systems and solutions, particularly for the water treatment market, while serving our partners and customers with greater speed and simplicity.”

By locating dosing skid production alongside the manufacturing of key pump products, Grundfos is creating a more streamlined end‑to‑end production process in Fresno. The move strengthens customer centricity and quality while supporting upgraded production capabilities and closer alignment with how customers expect to be served.

A homecoming for dosing skids in Fresno

The addition of dosing skid production represents an important next step in the ongoing development of the Fresno site, which has long served as a central hub for Industry production in the United States.

Inge Delobelle, EVP and Divisional CEO of Industry, highlighted the site’s strategic importance and its role in Grundfos’ history in the US.

“More than 50 years ago, our journey in the US began here in Fresno,” she said. “As we take the next steps in our ambition to win in the US, it feels fitting that our dosing skids are coming home to Fresno. This investment reflects both the importance of the US to our future and the growing role of water treatment and reuse at a time when water stewardship has never been more important.”

Delobelle also recognized the progress made by Grundfos’ production and supply chain teams in recent years and expressed confidence in their ability to continue leading the business forward with the new production line in place.

Strengthening water treatment in North America

The ribbon cutting ceremony brought together Grundfos leaders and key channel partners, including representatives from RF MacDonald, Carl Eric Johnson Company, and Hurley Engineering. Their presence underscored the collaborative approach behind the investment and the importance of strong local partnerships.

The Fresno facility employs 265 people and supports manufacturing, assembly, and testing across a broad portfolio of Industry products. With the addition of dosing skid production, Grundfos further strengthens its ability to support water treatment customers across North America with locally produced, high‑quality systems.
