Grundfos Italy’s key customer and partner Euro Mec is specialized in designing, producing and managing water treatment plants on an international scale. Now they have renewed a long-term contract with Grundfos for the supply of water and waste water pumps to peacekeeping field missions around the world.
This means that Grundfos and Euro Mec will work closely with the field operators to specify and quickly supply the right pumping solutions to a huge list of hot spots, including Sudan, Darfur, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mali, Somalia, Iraq, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Western Sahara, the Ivory Coast and Haiti.
Loyalty and great respect have led to strong partnership
- Personally speaking, what has counted the most in the consolidation of our relationship is the great respect, clarity and transparency in the management of our projects, the loyalty that has turned a supplier relationship into a partnership, says Lorenzo Giordani, CEO of Euro Mec Group Italia and continues:
- This solid and sincere collaboration has led me to want Grundfos by my side in one of the most important client relationships that Euro Mec has, represented by this new contract. In fact this is the second time we have won together an international tender for the supply of pumps to these important field missions around the world.
The renewed contract includes a wide range of pump types and many of the featured pumps will be supplied with additional Grundfos accessories as well as Euro Mec has added further value by offering custom electrical control panels, splicing kits and more. The contract is initially valid for three years and includes training and technical support which will be coordinated in close collaboration with Grundfos Italy.
